Anger:
You can’t compartmentalise your anger. It seeps through the pores. Can’t be calm with your kids if you’re angry elsewhere.
Anxiety  is: spending time today trying to figure out tomorrow.
Attitude: Keep an attitude that allows God to work in our lives. God doesn’t work through a negative attitude. He can only work where there’s faith, but you have to have hope before you can have faith.
There’s no situation that’s too much for God to handle if we have that determined attitude and keep having it, it is impossible for you not to be a winner in life.
Complaining: Thank God for everything, the more grateful you get, the more He’ll give you. If you’re already complaining about what you’ve got, why should God give you something else to complain about?

Confidence:
God will give you what is right for you and He will give it to you at the right time and in the right way, and we need to trust that and not ever be afraid we’re not going to get our way. So don’t fear it, face it.
God does not always give us what we want but He does give us what will ultimately work out for our good.
I can do ANYTHING through Christ who strengthens me.
Face it, don’t fear it!
Faith: Faith is the only thing that conquers fear.
If we have faith, we receive from God, if we have fear, we receive from the enemy.
God can only work where there’s faith, but you have to have hope before you can have faith.
Faith is hope; you can’t have faith without hope.

Fear:
I will not live in fear.  Fear brings torment and Jesus didn’t die for us so we could be tormented.
God is with me and no matter how I feel, I am not going to let this fear control my life.
Dread is close to fear:- “I dread doing this, that etc.”  In the morning say, “I am not going to dread this thing today, in fact, I’m going to enjoy it.”
Have an ‘I am’ and ‘I can’ attitude – I am a child of God; He is in me, I am saved and I have the mind of Christ and I’m filled with the Holy Spirit.”
If God is for me, who can be against me? If God is on my side, whom shall I fear? “Fear not, for I am with you. I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Never be afraid of tribulations or trials, because the greater one lives in us.
Fear is a dead end, whereas Faith has a future.
Faith is the only thing thnat conquers fear.
If we have faith, we receive from God, if we have fear, we receive from the enemy.
Refuse to let fear control us.
False Evidence Appearing Real
Your worst day with Jesus is better thnan your worst day without Him.
Fear can only be conquered by FAITH.
Figure out: We think that if we think about our problems enough, we’ll figure them out.
Forgive: Don’t rejoice when your enemy falls. If you forgive, you’ve got the peace and joy. If you’re glad at their pain, that’s worse than what they did to you.
I’m quick to forgive.

FUTURE:
Your future has no place for your past. God is offering you a new life; let go of what lies behind.

Give Up:
It doesn’t take any talent to give up, anybody can do it. It takes courage to press forward and keep believing what the Word of God says in those seasons of your life where it looks in your circumstances like none of it is true.
His Mercy: is new every day – done bad things since becoming a Christian. If your heart is sincere and you really love and you’re sorry for the things you’ve done wrong, you don’t have to suffer one more day in your heart over your past mistakes. NOT ONE MORE DAY!!
Hope: He can only work where there’s faith, but you have to have hope before you can have faith. Hope is a positive attitude; it’s an expectant outlook that something good is going to happen in your life.
Every day, say: “Something good is going to happen to me today.”
Hope is an expectation that something good is going to happen.

Jealousy
Being jealous of other people prevents us from seeing the greatness of God in our own lives.
Judgement: We don’t know enough about anyone to be judgemental.
We never have enough information to judge anyone.
Love: God is Love. When we are abiding in love, God is there.
Don’t let anything separate you from the love of God.
God works through people for you.
Lust:
Hebrews 13:5 – Nothing wrong with wanting something, but if we have to lust after it – if we don’t have it, we can’t be happy. Be happy with what we have: God said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Mercy: His mercy is new every day. If you love God and are really sorry for the things you’ve done wrong, you don’t have to suffer one more day in your heart over your past mistakes.
Mind wandering: If you don’t keep your mind on what you’re doing, you’re not even going to remember that you did it. I may say something amazing in the next few minutes, and if you in your mind go somewhere to get your lunch, the you’re going to miss the amazing thing that I said which is why recorded messages are so valuable. You could listen to a recording of today’s message and listen to it six times, and evefry time, you’d hear something you didn’t hear before. All our minds have to do is wander off for one moment, and even though our bodies are there, if your mind isn’t there, you’re not there.
Miracles   – come in cans, not in can’ts

Misery   is an option.
Obedience:
to God – God will never tell you to do anything that will not be the very best thing for you.
Plan: God’s more interested in doing something IN you than FOR you because if He can’t do anything in you, He can’t do anything THROUGH you.

Renew The Mind:
Stop thinking the junk and start thinking what God says and do it on purpose. Don’t wait for something to fall into your head, go ahead and think it on purpose.
Things will never be right until we get into agreement with God with our thinking.
Set your mind for success, refuse to give up.
Reputation:
God, I give You my reputation. I’m not going to spend my life worrying about what people think about me. I am going to be free to be who I am and be led by You.
Righteousness: Don’t let’s make the mistake of receiving more easily from satan than we do from God.
Just as sin came to all men, so righteousness is now available to all through Jesus Christ.
We did a good job at receiving guilt and condemnation, now let’s do a better job of receiving righteousness from God through Jesus Christ.
Satan:
say SHUT UP!!!
Sin:
Admit it, confess it, take ownership of it, don’t make excuses for it, don’t blame it on anybody else, receive your forgiveness, shake it off and go on!

Thoughts:

If we don’t learn how to control our thoughts, we’ll never learn to control our behaviour.
Tomorrow: Anxiety  is: spending time today trying to figure out tomorrow. Every day has enough problems of its own

Trust God:
He has a plan for you. Stop wanting what you don’t have and thank God for what you do have.
First response to a problem as soon as it arises:  I trust God completely, no need to worry.
Cast all your worries onto Him, for He cares for you. You are not smart enough to run your own life.
God wants to take care of us, but He doesn’t start until we stop.
Trust God and let Him be God
My first response to problems is, I trust God.
God never asks you to do anything unless it’s going to make your life better.
God didn’t call you to protect yourself, He wants to take care of you.
I’m going to put God in charge of my circumstances, I trust Him more than I trust me.
Let God be God in your life.
Father, Your will be done, not mine.
No matter what kind of problem I have in my life, I get to trust God. God loves me, I don’t have to live in fear. God is on my side. I get to give God my problems, cast my care; go on and enjoy my life while God works on my situation.
You are not smart enough to run your own life. God wants to take care of us, but He doesn’t start until we stop. He will start to take care of us when we stop.
Get comfortable saying, “I don’t know, but I know the One Who does.” Don’t even think you’re smart enough to run your own life.
Trust requires having unanswered questions. Say, “I don’t know, but I know someone Who does.”
Don’t even THINK you’re smart enough to run your own life.

Victory:
Every time you feel like doing the wrong thing but do the right thing, you’re growing in victory
What’s right: God will give us what’s right for us. He doesn’t always give us what we want, but He does give us what will ultimately work out for our good.
Worry: doesn’t change a thing. It’s like sitting in a rocking chair all day, it keeps you busy but gets you nowhere.
Worry torments, it makes you sick. 87% of all sickness is connected to wrong thinking.
Don’t worry about tomorrow because tomorrow will have enough problems of its own – seek ye first the kingdom of God, and all these other things will be added unto you. New confession: “I don’t worry, I put my trust in God.
Don’t try to figure out tomorrow. Think one day at a time.

I’m goina teach you tonight about seven characteristics of a perfect heart. I was thinking about 2nd Chronicles, 16:9 that says the eyes of God roam to and fro' across the earth looking for someone in whom He might show Himself strong, whose heart is perfect toward Him. I’m really glad that scripture doesn’t say, the eyes of God roam to and fro' across the earth looking for someone in whom He might show Himself strong, who has a perfect performance. I’ve spent enough years in my life trying to perform perfectly thinking the better I was, the more God could do for me or the better I was, I could get a breakthrough that I desired.

It was really good news to me and I hope good news to you that God is looking around the earth for someone He might work through, someone that He might bless, someone that He might show Himself strong through. He’s not looking for someone who has a perfect performance, because there are none of those that exist. He’s looking for someone who has a blameless, right and perfect heart. I happen to know from a scripture and from experience, that God would rather have someone who makes a few mistakes but has a right heart, than someone who does everything right. I mean, they are so super religious, they have got it so together, they keep all the rules and regulations, but they have such a stinky, lousy bad heart attitude. God is not as concerned with us having a perfect performance as we like to think He is.

I always like to tell people that you’re no surprise to God, He knew what He was getting when He got you; I’m no surprise to God, He knew what He was getting when He got me. He didn’t say, “OK Joyce, now shape up or ship out.” Actually, I do things that surprise me and I have to remember that God is not surprised. He knew about it before He allowed me to have a relationship with Him through Jesus Christ.

I think a lotta times, y’know, we hear people say, “My heart’s right, my heart’s right, my heart’s right,” and if there’s a perfect heart that can be had, I wanna have one and I’m sure you’re the same way. I began to think about some of the characteristics of a perfect heart and to be honest, God gave me this little message and it didn’t take very long at all and I’m goina invite you tonight to examine your heart. I’m goina invite you tonight with each one of these points to ask yourself, kinda where you’re at in that area. Is that an area you need to begin to pray about, you need to ask God to help you to grow in? Because we do want to make sure our hearts are right towards God, and I can say that the more right our hearts are, the more right our performance will be. But see, you can polish up your performance and still have a stinky heart attitude, but if you have a really good heart toward God, I mean a really right heart, you really love God, you want to be what God wants you to be; you want to serve God, you want to help people, that goes a long, long, long way with God.

Don’t you like to be around people that you can tell  have a really good heart? How many of yer like that? I’m not just talking about the physical heart that beats strong. I think a lotta times when we talk about heart we can replace that word with ‘attitude’. Many times, what’s in our heart comes out in attitude.

So, the first thing I’d like to talk about is, I believe a person with a perfect heart is always growing spiritually. Are you growing? Are you different this year from what you were last year? Do behave better, although you’re not perfect, do you behave better now than five years ago, or ten years ago? Are you still in that situation I found myself in many years ago where I went to church on a regular basis, that I believed that Jesus died for me? I could actually tell you that if I woulda died, Iwoulda gone to Heaven; I knew I was saved by grace and not by works, but I can tell you that I was not growing. I went to church and I went home, and nuthin’ changed; went to church and I went home, and nuthin’ changed; I went to church and I went home, and nuthin’ changed.

Our relationship with God is not about a Sunday morning event; it’s not about 45 minutes, or an hour, or an hour and a half that we spend in a building, going through a certain form, or method or ritual, but it’s about letting God into every single area of our lives – it’s about growing. I can tell you that if you go to church on a regular basis and you’re not growing, then either there’s something wrong with the church or there’s something wrong with you, and if I were you, I’d find out which one it is. If it’s you, then you need to repent and tell God it’s time for you to shape up. If it’s the church and they’re not teaching you anything, then you need to just go somewhere else where you can be challenged by the Word of God and hear the truth of God’s Word.

You don’t have to be made to feel good every time you go to church, sometimes you need to be confronted, sometimes you need to have your spiritual bottom paddled, sometimes you need to be corrected, and in the midst of all that, we need to be encouraged and loved and edified. Go somewhere where you can get a strong ‘meat’ of the word, not just a pacifier and a milk bottle every week, week after week after week. If you’re not in the right place where you’re growing, then you need to get somewhere where you’re growing. I’m sure we’d all like to think that if we’re not growing, it’s the church, but first I would start with you.

I would make sure that you’re doing what you’re hearing in church because no matter what you hear, if you don’t do it, you’re not goina grow. I said, no matter what you hear in church, if you don’t do it, you’re not goina grow. No matter what you hear in here tonight, if you don’t do it, you’re not goina grow. God will help you to do it; there are two phrases I want to help you to get rid of: ‘I can’t help it’ and ‘it’s just too hard’. You need to get rid of both o’ those phrases. Anything God tells us to do, He’s goina give us the strength and ability to do it if we cry out to Him and lean on Him. We have to stop saying, ‘it’s just too hard, it’s just too hard, I just can’t help it, I just can’t help it’. Those are power stealing excuses that will keep us in the same place and we’ll never grow. What you need to say is, “I can do whatever God tells me to do through Christ Who strengthens me”.

Now, y’know, I used to worry about this thing with a perfect heart because, I would hear people preach and, y’know, God wants us to be perfect, be perfect even as your Father in Heaven is perfect. We’re goina put that up on the screen and I want you to see what the Amplified Bible sez. You therefore must be perfect – now right about there, I’m in trouble, but I love this – (growing into complete maturity of Godliness in
mind and character, having reached the proper height of virtue and integrity) as your Heavenly Father is perfect. So we have God here who is perfect, He’s our example and we are to press toward that mark. The apostle Paul said, “He pressed toward the mark of perfection.”

If you don’t want to have improvement in your behavior, then something’s desperately wrong in your heart, and I’m sure you all do otherwise you wouldn’t be in this building tonight. Most of you, if you’ve lasted past the first two minutes of this teaching, you’re interested in something changing in your life, you’re interested in something growing or you’re just waiting to see if I’m crazy or a nutcase, or whatever, but, y’know, if you’ll just hang on long enough, maybe God will be able to put something in your heart that might make a real huge difference.

I wanna be perfect in my behavior, but I know I’ll only get there in degrees of glory. I study, God deals with me, I repent, I pray, I study some more, I trust God, then pretty soon, I see some changes, and that’s been going on for 35 years and I don’t expect it to ever stop.  If you think that you’re goina get to the point where God’s not goina be dealing with you about something, then you’re seriously mistaken and you’d best hope that never happens because the worst thing that could ever happen to you would be for God to leave you alone and let you stay the way that you are……………Amen?

Paul said, “I’m not arrived at the place of perfection but I pressed toward it.” One of the things he said was that he let go of what lies behind and pressed toward the good things that lie ahead and we’re goina talk about that in just a minute. 1st Peter 2:2 says, Desire God’s Word and grow unto completed salvation. There’s nothing that I love better than the sound of about ten thousand people in a building with the Bible pages turning when I say, “Turn to a scripture”. Those are people who desire the Word of God. There’s nothing more beautiful, than as early as you possibly can, to go get your Bible and to let the Word of God begin to minister to you. In Ephesians 4:10 – 12, the Bible sez that God has given ministry gifts to us – apostle, prophet, pastor, evangelist – ministry gifts, that we might grow and that we might mature and we might go out and do the work of the ministry. God has given you pastors to teach you and to help you change.

Are you growing or have you been going round the same mountain for the last 25 years? Are you just too stubborn to do things God’s way? Are you ready to get beyond that? Someone with a perfect heart is someone who really, really, really wants to grow, they want to change. They ask God to change them. They asked God to examine them and show them areas of their life where they might change. A person with a perfect heart doesn’t find something wrong with everybody else while they think they’ve already arrived.

I remember when I was back in just my church going days – going to church, going home, going to church, going home, nothing changing, and when God touched my life, and I began to study the Word, I wanted to apply all of it to Dave. The more I read, the more problems I knew Dave had……………………c’mon now!

I was praying for Dave to change, I was furiously praying for Dave to change and God actually spoke to my heart and said, “Dave is not the problem.” I didn’t know who in the world it was because it never occurred to me that it was me. So, before you start trying to change anybody else, c’mon now, before you start trying to change ANYBODY else, you’d better make sure you’re growing and that you’re asking God to change you.

The second thing that I believe we will see in a person with a perfect heart is they are fully, fully committed. No luke warmness, no lazy ho hum half baked attitude. God is not pleased with anybody who is half way to where He wants them to be. Half way is not good enough; we’ve got to go ALL the way through, with God. Too many people start off in the right direction, they’re gonna work with God to conquer this problem or that problem in their life, or to overcome  this and that and it’s good as long as they’re talking about it, but as soon as it comes to a little bit of discomfort, a little bit of pain, a  sacrifice, all of a sudden, they go back where they came from. You gotta stop quitt’n when the going gets rough. You gotta press through because on the other side of that pain is the victory. You can have the pain of discipline today or the pain of regret tomorrow, which is it going to be?

I said to someone just this past week, “I don’t think there’s anything sadder to me than to see an elderly person whom you know has only a few years left to live and all they have from their life is regret. That doesn’t have to be you if you start doing something about it right now. You need to make good choices right now. Discipline doesn’t always feel good, it’s not always joyous right now, but later on it yields a harvest in our lives if we make those right choices.

Romans chapter 12 verse 1 says what I’m trying to say very well: I appeal to you therefore brethren and I beg of you, in view of all the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies (presenting all your members and faculties)…..  All, all your members and faculties. That means your eyes, your ears and your mouth. God wants you to be committed to not listen to junk. He wants us to be committed to not listening to gossip, slander and back biting and people telling tales. He’d like you to be committed to not listening to someone at the lunch table telling a filthy dirty joke and then laughing about it because you don’t want to be seen as not being part of the group…………..You’re too quiet!

He wants us to be fully committed; He doesn’t want us to just go to church on Sunday and have this Sunday morning thing with God and then for the rest of the week be the kind of people that nobody can tell that we even have a relationship with God. We have to be dedicated, consecrated. The word consecrated means set apart for God’s use. You don’t want anybody gett’n in your stuff.

I’m going to ask people tonight before this is over, if you’ve not made a full commitment to Christ……see we had an altar call here earlier and lots of people, hundreds and hundreds raised their hands, said they wanted to receive Christ as their savior. But are you ready to be fully committed…..fully committed. There’s a lotta great people in here tonight that are very committed, but there are people in here tonight that have never given that much thought to being fully committed. Like I said earlier, we can’t just take Jesus and tack him onto our selfish, sinful, silly lifestyle and think that’s our free ticket to Heaven, we need to be committed. Our way into Heaven is not according to our good works, but I have to tell you honestly, that if you have a right relationship with God, you just absolutely cannot help yourself, you want to grow, and if you don’t wanna grow, then there’s a heart problem; if you don’t wanna be committed, there’s a heart problem. Something is wrong if you don’t want to be fully committed. I was a Christian for many years before I was fully committed. Would I have gone to Heaven? Yes, I believe that I would have but you know what? I wouldn’t be helping you tonight. I wouldn’t have had the breakthroughs and the victories that I’ve had in my life.

Being a Christian isn’t about whether you can sneak in the back door of Heaven, it’s about how you’re gonna live your life…….how you’re gonna live your life. What shall we do now? I tell ya I am so worn out with the world and the way people act. Everybody acting like God is an enemy and trying to get rid of Him and everything. Oh, it’s just aggravating me more and more every day that I live. I’m just weary of hearing about wars and rumors of wars, riots and terrible disasters and terrible things that go on. How much I crave to see people in mass cry out to God and turn back to God. It’s obvious that things are goina go straight downhill until we cry out to God again. It doesn’t take a bunch of panels of geniuses to figure this out. It’s not hard – as soon as people get fully committed to God, things’ll begin to turn around in their lives, and if you’re not fully committed, then like Paul said to the Romans, “I beg you in view of all the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of all of your members and faculties.

Dedicate your money, dedicate your time. Boy when you start talking about money and time, people get….Wwhheeeerrrrrr. WELL YOU WOULDN’T HAVE ANYTHING ANYWAY IF GOD DIDN’T GIVE IT TO YER!! So why are you so afraid that He might ask for a little bit of it? Whatever God asks you to give, He’s never tried to take anything away from you, He’s just trying to get you to sow a seed so He can bring a bigger harvest in your life. It is foolish to not obey God when it comes to giving. How can we say our heart is full of God and never wanna give? Giving and Christianity cannot be separated. Giving your time, giving help, giving compliments, giving encouragement. We need to live to give. Make a decisive dedication. Make a decision tonight: “I’m not goina be a lazy, lukewarm, half way, hope to sneak in the back door Christian”.

Hold nothing back, be fully committed. Be committed to growing, be committed to serving, be committed to giving. Be committed to the Word of God. The Bible sez that when sacrifices are offered unto God, from someone who is not dedicated, there are dead sacrifices. In other words, if you go to church on Sunday, and you put a bit in the offering and maybe you serve on a committee and maybe you do some ushering and greeting and maybe you show up at workday every three months, but really, you’re not dedicated to God; your mind’s not dedicated to God, you think all kinds of garbage stuff; your mouth isn’t dedicated to God, you sit and gossip like everybody else……………..or I do. We won’t blame it all on you, I can be the same way.  You’re not dedicated. Sometimes I have to re-dedicate. I’ll get real strong in an area then I’ll find myself slipping. Today I heard myself having an attitude about sum’n and I thought, “Now, Joyce, you know better than that.”  I had to go back to my room and repent; I had to get it right with God again and I had to re-dedicate that attitude in that area. There’s nothing wrong with that. We don’t know why, but God sees your heart if you really crave to do what’s right. Let me tell you something if you think you don’t do anything wrong, then you are a sad case. If it’s really hard for you to say I’m wrong, you need to get on your knees and start praying double time and triple time. You need to get good at saying, I’m wrong, I’m wrong, I’m wrong. That don’t make you wrong as a person, but we need to admit when our behaviour is not right.

First Peter 2:9 sez we are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation. We are called to perfection and to excellence. Isn’t that great? Perfection and excellence, there’s nothing lukewarm or mediocre about our call. Know what you’re called to. Make a decision for whether you’re up for it or not. God is not pleased with anyone who’s satisfied being half way to where He’s called ‘em to be.

Third thing, I believe a perfect heart is not a heart that’s full of guilt and condemnation. Paul said, “I press toward the mark of perfection and one thing I do is my one aspiration: forgetting what lies behind.” He said, “The most important thing I do in order to press on is to forget what lies behind.” Some of you cannot grow and you cannot really be fully committed because your heart is too full of guilt and condemnation. You’re stuck in something you did ten years ago, twenty years ago, this morning on the way to the conference, and it’s just guilt guilt guilt, condemnation. I don’t even know how to tell you how many problems I had with guilt nd condemnation. Being abused by my father in childhood, I thought something was wrong with me. I started out feeling bad about myself, feeling guilty. I got to the point where I didn’t feel right if I didn’t feel wrong.

Y’know, one question I think we should all ask ourselves is, ‘Am I growing spiritually?’ Am I making progress in my spiritual growth in spiritual maturity?’ Y’know, I have to say, honestly,  I went to church for a lotta years and I wasn’t really growing, I just went to church. And so we need to really love the Word. First Peter 2:2 sez, Like newborn babies, you should crave the pure unadulterated spiritual milk, that by it you may grow unto completed salvation. That just basically means working with the Holy Spirit to let what God has done in us as a free gift be worked out through us where the world can begin to see it. Spiritual growth and spiritual maturity is not only important, it’s very exciting. There’s nothing more important than learning to know your own heart and being honest about the things that are going on in you. We get way too caught up with everything going on around us and we think that’s the most important thing, but God really is concerned about our heart. He loves someone who has a peaceful and a right heart; well, He loves us all, but He loves to see that kinda heart attitude. Amen

14th January 2013

Christianity is………………………….

There’s only one way we can be delivered from being full of ourselves, that is to be full of God.
To be born again, or to be saved, means that you receive Christ as your Saviour, the payment for your sins, and He comes to live inside of you. When we’re saved, it doesn’t mean that we try to be good and go to church once a week. It means that God comes to live IN us. We become the home of God: a new creature.

If we’re born again, we’re different from other people who aren’t born again. We have a power in us; we have a hope in us. The Bible says we’re born again into an ever-living hope.

The thing about salvation is that it’s a done deal. We don’t have to struggle to get it; we don’t have to talk God into doing anything for us. Jesus already died for us and paid for our sins. Every sin we have ever committed has already been forgiven. All we have to do is receive it! The word ‘get’ means to obtain by struggle and effort, but to receive means to just take in what’s being offered: become a receptacle and take in.

If we just sin one time, then manage to be good for the whole rest of our lives, or if like me, one has been a profound career sinner, done so many things wrong that it seems there could be no hope, the link between us and God is severed and now we need some way of restoring that link. We cannot do that; our sin is so great and God’s holiness is so amazing that there is no way, by effort or works, or any kind of good behaviour or attempt to pay for our sins, can we ever restore what’s been broken.  God so loved the world (Jn 3:16) that whosoever…..not some people, not a few, not special people, but WHOSOEVER believeth in Him etc.

We can all choose to believe that Jesus died for our sins; that He loves us. We might not feel love, but if we CHOOSE to believe it, the feelings will come later. Choose to believe that God forgives our sins and He even forgets them. In order to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, we must be born again.

When we’re born again, a seed of everything that God is, comes to live in us…..hope, love and peace. Then we grow and grow and grow. That new creature that we have become by the grace of God, at the moment of our new birth, begins to be manifest throughout our lives. People begin to notice this and they will say, “I want some of that.”

God wants us to be witnesses in a dark world. It means we need to get out into the world and be what we are. If any man be in Christ, he’s a new creation, ALL things pass away: ALL things become new. We can all have a new FREE beginning – all sins forgiven, peace with God. We can receive eternal life which is not just a ticket to Heaven when we die, it also means to have life as God has life while here on Earth. Eternal life is a different quality of life. All we have to do is ask, “Can that be for me?”

Some people may have backslidden from God and the devil will tell us that God will never have us back, but like the prodigal son, we can say, “I’m coming home.”

Maybe some of us are good religious people; been going to church for many years, but we can sit in the garage for a week, but we won’t turn into a car. We can sit in a church pew until it wears out, but it won’t make us Christians. A Christian is NOT something we become because of something we do. A Christian is something that God does in us by faith; it’s a free gift that God delivers by His Grace and we can do nothing to earn it. All we can do is receive. Maybe people depend on their own works or their church attendance in the hope of going to Heaven. How many will say, “Only Jesus, never my works, only Jesus”? Romans 10:9…………..That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Who will be bold enough to proclaim, “I need Jesus, I want a relationship with Jesus. Taking God out of His box for an hour on Sunday mornings does not feed me, I want to know that I’m born again”?

I want you to stand up, right where you’re at and I’m going to pray for you, come on, all over the building, stand up and say, “I want a relationship with Jesus Christ. I WANT A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST! I WANT TO KNOW THAT I’M BORN AGAIN.” Come on, all over the building, up in the top; come on, keep getting up, you keep getting up. Don’t sit there and be concerned about what somebody’s going to think.
OK, listen to me just a second, I’m only going to ask one more time, I don’t want anybody to be left out. You say, “I don’t wanna stand up, I can just sit here and pray.” Sure you can, but why would you want to sneak into the Kingdom? Don’t try to have some sneaky relationship with God. I don’t want Him sneaking around in my life, I want Him to be bold and loud in my life, amen?
We don’t ask you to get up to embarrass you, you know why we ask you to get up? It’s because, if you won’t take a stand in here, there’s no way you’ll go back out in the world and take one. So, if you’re still seated and you know you should be up, don’t miss this, stand up right now, one two three, UP! If you need to be up, UP!
OK, you lovely anointed sisters in the Lord, you see people all around you, reach out and grab their hand. Don’t let anybody not have a loving touch right now. Somebody round you who is standing up, who wants to give their life to the Lord, just let them feel what anointed love feels like. Come on now, nobody left alone. Look around you.

Now I just want you to pray this prayer after me; a very simple prayer, not complicated, but you pray it, LOUD, and you mean it.
Say, Father God I love You,
I believe in You,
I need You,
I’m sorry for my sins,
Sorry about the way I’ve lived,
Sorry for shutting You out,
But I want You in my life
I surrender, I yield,
I receive Jesus,
As my Saviour, and my Lord
I believe He died for me,
He rose from the dead,
He’s alive today,
Come into me,
Take me just the way I am,
Now make me into everything You want me to be,
I believe I’m saved,
I’m on my way to Heaven,
And I’m going to enjoy the trip,
AMEN!
